Planeta-RTR (Планета-РТР) is a cable and satellite television station from Moscow, Russia, providing News and Entertainment shows. Also known as Russia-RTR (Россия РТР), Planeta-RTR provides a variety of programs as shows on the RTR stations, including news, TV series and movies, and sports.

The RTR-Planet TV channel is a round-the-clock information and entertainment channel in Russian, which broadcasts to viewers around the world. Today, the audience of the RTR-Planet television channel is more than 30 million viewers in both hemispheres.

The first channel (until 2002 Public Russian Television) began broadcasting in April 1995 and became the successor to the state television and radio company Ostankino, which was the main broadcaster in the USSR and covered 99.8% of the Russian population.
