WGGS-TV is a full service television station in Greenville, South Carolina, broadcasting on local digital UHF channel 16 and virtual channel 16 to the Greenville/Spartanburg / Anderson, South Carolina / Asheville, North Carolina area. Founded in 1972, it is owned by Carolina Christian Broadcasting, Inc. WGGS is an independent Christian inspirational station. It broadcasts a variety nationally syndicated Christian networks' programs. WGGS's channel is multiplexed, with three subchannels. Channel 16.1 airs WGGS programming; 16.2 shows MyFamilyTV, with family friendly programming consisting of television classic, current syndicated shows, lifestyle information, outdoors shows, children's educational programs, talk shows and classic movies, and 16.3 airs Harmony, with gospel music.
